Diamond processing
The pre-cut diamonds are processed at our site in Biel or at our sister company in Germany.

Diamond processing with laser

Internal profiles and radii of diamonds (MCD) are pre-cut using lasers for shaping.

We use femtosecond lasers for processing PCD diamonds.

Diamond brazing in high vacuum
Diamonds can only be soldered in a high-vacuum furnace – a special process which we have implemented with a high-tech system.

Setting the diamonds
The diamonds of the cutting tools are pressed into a bed of silver solder and fixed with a clamping holder. Only a precisely crafted setting, exactly according to the dimensions of the stone, and a flawless impression of the diamond in the solder bed guarantee vibration-free operation of the tool.

Mirror-smooth polished cutting edges
Our self-built grinding machines are characterized by optimal smooth running. This allows us to achieve the finest, absolutely chip-free cutting edges.

Profiles and radii within tight tolerances
Through our specially developed, precise grinding machines, we guarantee compliance with the tightest tolerances.

Manufacturing of tool holders

We manufacture tool holders from carbide, steel, or vibration-resistant steel. Machining is carried out on CNC lathes, milling machines, and grinding machines.
