our raw material:
monocrystalline diamonds

Although we purchase diamonds in larger lots, each single stone is examined for its suitability for finishing work prior to the purchase. Unsuitable diamonds, such as those with a so-called naht (twin stones) or stones with easily visible flaws or unsuitable structure, are eliminated.    Today Antwerp is still the trade centre for rough and cut diamonds. Thanks to the on-site location of our branch (Mecosa S.à.r.l), we are constantly present on the market and maintain close business relations to our major suppliers.

On request we also process synthetic, monocrystalline diamonds for specific applications.

Each single rough diamond is examined for its suitability for industrial processing.

To be able to meet all demands ragarding the various sizes and shapes of diamond tools and diamond blades and take into account the differing market situations in our selection, we maintain an extensive store of diverse rough diamonds.

We use rough diamonds of yellow jewellery quality for our Diatome diamond knives as well as for special tools and knives.
